How to Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved and show your support for the fight against hunger.

A Brief History

The Capitol All-Stars Game began in 2013 as a way to bring state lawmakers together to fight hunger in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This bi-partisan, bi-cameral, slow pitch softball game is played by two teams, the Yinz and the Youse, made up of state Representatives and  Senators, Republicans and Democrats, and men and women.

It is the only event of its kind in the United States.

To date, CASS has helped provide about a million meals to Pennsylvanians in need through our charitable partners, Hunger-Free Pennsylvania and Feeding Pennsylvania.

The need for healthy meals has never been greater in Pennsylvania, and the Capitol All-Stars Game has become a night of fellowship for legislators and a way to support our hardworking food pantries and meal programs throughout the state.

Capitol All-Stars Charitable Legislative Softball Game (CASS) is a Project of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, fiscal sponsor.

The official registration and financial information of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free, within Pennsylvania, 1.800.732.0999. Registration does not imply endorsement. The Foundation for Enhancing Communities is registered in each state requiring such registration for charitable solicitation.
